Fishing Report Septmeber 11th-19th

Now that the weather is finally settling down and the lake is cooling, fish should move back out to deeper water. This should allow for more fish to be caught while jigging. Crank baits should continue to be effective for a few more weeks, but we are starting to see spinners and bottom bouncers slowly fade away. Minnows are being used much more as the days get cloudier, and they are now our guides' go to bait.

Fishing Report September 4th-10th

The fishing has been becoming more difficult as we transition from summer to fall but fish are still being caught. Crank baits are now effective, along with the standard slip bobber set up. We are seeing fish biting on both night crawlers and minnows.

Fishing Report August 21st-27th

The fish are biting well right now, despite the recent heat. Spinner and bottom bouncer combos with night crawlers is still effective; but as fall approaches crank baits and jigging should start to prove more effective.

August 14th- 20th Fishing Report

Crank baits are becoming less effective as the weed break loose, but it should pick back up after the lake clears. Spinners and deep jigging is still effective, and should continue to succeed as the water cools down.

August 7th-13th Fishing Report

Fish are still being caught in deeper water, 20- 30 feet. Spinners and bottom bouncers are continuing to work well, and crank baits are starting to show success. Vertical jigging with a leech set up will also work in deep water or directly over structure or weeds.

July 31st- August 6th Fishing Report

Jigging in weedy, structure filled areas, as well as trolling over structure or contour lines from 20-30 feet. Spinners and nightcrawlers have proven effective on East Bay, with fish moving deep. Jigging leeches works as well earlier in the day.

July 24th-30th Fishing Report

Fishing is still very good in the southern parts of the lake, as well as Pelican Lake. The main presentation is still spinners, bottom bouncers, and night crawlers. The crank bait bite should increase in the coming weeks. Trolling with spinners in deeper water, anywhere from 10-30 feet is ideal.

July 17-23 Fishing Report

The fish are still biting on spinners and bottom bouncers, in deeper water (20-30 feet). The fish are being caught mainly on the south side of the lake near Sully's Hill and in the Minnewaken Flats. Hover you can be successful in most parts of lake with a bit of patience.
