The MGS fishing report for Devils Lake, North Dakota. The week of May 8th thru the 14th.
Simply put, the reports from our fishing guides and their clients have ranged from good to very good to excellent. An early spring with stable weather patterns has been responsible for much of that. Fish of all sizes are reported being caught. The shallows being the place to be if you wanted to catch quality fish. Slip bobbers, pitching jigs or casting crankbaits are the preferred weapons of choice. Days of abundant sunshine and light winds have produced best.
MGS Guides Steve Zippy Dahl, Bruce Bonzer, Pete Harsh and Tanner Thomas have been guiding their groups to some very good catches. Our full staff of guides are set to come on board shortly. So far the fishing in 2017 looks to be as good as it was during the record-breaking summer of 2016. Mitchell’s Guide Service would like to encourage you to take the time and book us now. The fish are waiting for you.We can.be reached at 701-662-5996.
