Fish House Rentals
Fish house rentals begin mid-December and end on March 14th. Come fish one of the best perch and walleye lakes in the country this winter!
Anglers that choose to rent our fish houses will find a full-time crew working hard to keep our houses on the best action available in our area. Our houses are first-class and modern; with luxuries like electric lights, propane furnaces, and comfortable seating.
On the ice you will need to bring appropriate clothing, food, fishing equipment, and refreshments. We will drill additional holes outside if you plan on using tip-ups. Anglers are allowed 4 lines in North Dakota, but we plan on 2 holes per person in our fish houses. Woodland Resort offers a variety of 2, 3, 4, and 6 person fish houses. Cook stoves are available upon request. Fish house rentals are from sunrise to sunset.

All houses are preheated every morning for your convenience.

Get a ride to and from your fish house from our staff.
Predrilled Holes
All houses are predrilled. We can also drill a few holes outside your house if you let us know.

Four Person House
$309/ Day
8′ x 12′ and 6′ x 14′ fish houses, pre-heated, 6-8 pre-drilled holes, cook stove and lights.
Three Person House
$269/ Day
8′ x 12′ fish houses, pre-heated, 6 pre-drilled holes, cook stove and lights.
Six Person House
$379/ Day
8′ x 16′ fish house, pre-heated, up to 12 pre-drilled holes, cook stove and lights.

Sorry, we do not offer sleeper houses as there is no night bite on Devils Lake.

You can get a fishing license online. If you are unable to get one prior to your visit the staff in the baitshop will assist you. Please note: The license fee must be paid with a credit or debit card.

In the morning (around 7) the staff will begin taking fisherman to their houses. You will be meeting in the bait shop.
After all fisherman are out the staff will begin checking up on each group. They will move you upon request to your other house, or back to the resort. The guides will begin picking everyone up from their houses near dark.
