Hello everyone!

Glad to report that the lake is finally doing some quality freezing in some areas. We are shooting for January 1st to get our ice houses on the lake! Zippy and the Perch Patrol are going to be fully operational on December 27th.

Ice Conditions:

6 mile bay (North end): 7-9 inches
Dry Lake: 8-9 inches
Lake Irvine: 8-9 inches
Pelican Lake: 8-9 inches
Minnewaukan Flats: 4-5 inches
Creel Bay: *2 inches* (Just froze over a few nights ago)
East Devils Lake: *2 inches* (Just froze over a few nights ago)

We exercise extreme caution on the lake with the current ice conditions. There have been a few ATVs that have gone through the ice so far this year. Even with the posted ice conditions, we cannot guarantee every foot of these areas has ice thickness that is being reported.

We are also looking at 2-6 inches of snowfall tonight which can change ice conditions quickly and slow the ice making process.

Good luck to everyone fishing and happy holidays from all of us here at Woodland Resort!
