It’s been awhile…. Bring your tracks if you’re going on your own but Tanner has some good news!

It’s been awhile! What a LONG COLD Winter!

Tanner with Devils Lake Tourism has some good news for some of you bringing in your own wheelhouses. Lots of questions have been coming in regarding lake access.

We continue to plow trails throughout Creel Bay with a majority of the access being for our fish house customers. There are some spots down at Rocky Point towards the mouth of the bay that are good for wheelhouses but with all of the snow it’s limited to primarily that area out of the resort.

Pike and walleye fishing remains stable. The Perch have been overall finicky this winter- small tungsten’s and these gold varmints that Travis featured on his blog www.devilslakefishingreport.com have worked well on those days where the bite has been tough.

We’re now at 30+ inches of ice! It’s extension time!
